A photo of the lovely cards we received from friends and family for our engagement, sitting on top of our teak tv cabinet. My parents put an announcement in the local paper in my hometown in Vic, and included our address in it. We received cards from several old friends I haven't seen in 15+ years, lovely! They're all getting a thank you card post big day.
It's always so special being remembered. Good luck with your marriage. It's not always easy but understanding the balance of life you'll understand there has to be bumps a long the way to make you appreciate the good times more.
